Emigration1750He emigrated in 1750 at Philadelphia aboard the ship Osgood. There are two immigration dates used in various sources for Redwine's arrival in America. Sources using the earlier date of 1737 say he came to the area around what is now Pittsburgh. There were very few white people in that area at that time so it is more likely the second date of 1750 is more accurate. That is also when the oath of allegiance was taken in Philadelphia.8,9,10
