Biography

Birthabt 1730Frances "Fanny" Beale was born abt 1730 in South Carolina. Several sources have her birth year as about 1747. That makes no sense if the birth date of her youngest son is correct. The about 1730 date fits better with other events in her life.1
Marriageabt 1750James Griffin, Sr, and she were married abt 1750 in Ninety-Six District, South Carolina. Date is approximate based on earliest known birth year of her children.2
Marriageaft 1782Charles Ashley Cooper and she were married aft 1782 at - 2nd marriage of Fanny Beale.2

He was compensated for supplying 20 bushels of corn for the militia & for a horse lost in public service.2,1
