Crotwell in 1905. It was pictured and mentioned as being one of the first in the state and being successful by the State Commissioner of Agriculture in a book in 1907. According to an article in the Newberry Observer newspaper dtd 7 Jan 1910, S. P. Crotwell and family went to Hot Springs, Arkansas for six months for health and business. It is probable the farm in Arkansas was part of the estate of his father.21

My father called his grandmother "Dar" so everyone in my family did also.
